TruBlu all started at 11 years old when I was gifted my first Belgian Blue Heifer. I had taken up the idea of showing cattle to earn some animal husbandry skills for vet school down the track. One Belgian Blue heifer, quickly grew into a Belgian Blue stud, and a passion for all things genetics. Picking matings and painstakingly waiting 9 months of the year for calves to be born, to selling home-bred bulls all around the country, vet school got put on the back burner, and genetics swiftly took over. A bachelors degree at Massey, Semen Analysis, Oocytology, Embryology, and with a few years of training spread out across the world, TruBlu Genetics has come to be the epitome of my life's work so far. Im excited to be able to share my passion for good cattle with the rest of New Zealand.
